Taguig Opens Hiraya Youth Development Center to Nurture Leadership, Volunteerism, and Growth—thanks to Love Gala 2024!
The City of Taguig officially opened the Hiraya Taguig Youth Development Center on Wednesday, April 30, 2025—a safe and inclusive space designed to empower young Taguigeños through volunteerism, skills training, and community engagement. The event also marked the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement between the local government, LoveYourself Inc., and Pia Wurtzbach-Jauncey to deliver integrated services and youth-centered programs.
We’re also thinking about the lives and the people, our loved ones that we’ve lost… but we’re also celebrating the wins and looking forward to the goals, the innovations, and the progress that’s still to come. This is the first time that I’ve been this hands-on with the Love Gala. I feel like I’m preparing for a wedding because I’ve really been involved from day one up to now. It’s been nine years since Miss Universe, but as you all know, the work never stops.

THE LOVE GALA
The Love Gala 2024, themed “Eternal Elegance: A Night of Timeless Love,” brought together advocates, supporters, and changemakers for an unforgettable evening of purpose and compassion.
With Pia Wurtzbach at the forefront, the gala transcended celebration and became a powerful fundraiser dedicated to building a youth center in Taguig. Through the heartfelt auction of Pia’s personal Miss Universe memorabilia, the evening transformed glamour into impact—uniting generosity with advocacy.
Most importantly, the vision became reality: the Hiraya Youth Foundation has since opened its doors to the public, now serving as a safe and inclusive space where young people can access vital services, connect, and grow in a community designed by and for them. The success of Love Gala 2024 stands as proof that when love and purpose converge, lasting change is possible.

The #TeamPiaJauncey, in collaboration with #LoveYourself, proudly launched an exclusive auction platform personally owned and operated by me, Pia Wurtzbach Jauncey.
What began as a vision has already become a remarkable success—most of the treasured pieces from my Miss Universe journey have been sold, with proceeds fueling the creation of my first Youth Center in Taguig. This empowering space now stands as a beacon for underprivileged youth, offering them access to vital services, mentorship, and a community built for their growth.
A select number of pieces remain open for public bidding, ensuring that the spirit of giving continues and that every supporter still has the chance to be part of this enduring cause.
